Oh boy, Miranda is bipolar. One minute she loves the baby, the next, she won't let me pick up Annaliese when she cries and she tries to hit her. Great. A whole lifetime of jealousy to look forward to.
Seriously- Annaliese is a dreamboat, still in the eating-pooping-sleeping stage. She only cries when hungry or needs a diaper change. She already tries to hold her head up, the yellow has left her skin (I think she will be more olive than the fair Miranda), and she follows objects held in front of her. She is a very good baby.
Miranda amazes me every day with her spongelike ability to mimick me. Her vocab and comprehension are beyond any expectation (more than 50 words-I am not kidding). She puts together sentences like "Mommy! Shh, baby sleeping" or "Daddy! I got it!" or "E! Play hide" (for hide and go seek). She is always talking and is on the go from the minute she wakes up until bedtime (unfortunately, still around 10pm). She says "please" and "thank you" at the right times and tells Boba to sit (although it sounds like "shit") and is already pooping on the potty. She did that all on her own a month ago. We still cannot get rid of the binky and bottle as Annaliese has both as well and we had a feeling it wouldnt work to get them away from her. Her hair is getting darker (though still a nice dark auburn) and is growing up beautifully.
Unfortunately I have to go back to work in June, but I have to make some money to pay taxes that I owe. How did I miscalculate that one?
